Indutrade invests further in industrial measurement technology through acquisition of Damalini AB

Damalini AB, based in Mölndal, Sweden, is a technological leader in laser-based measurement and alignment systems. Its proprietary EasyLaser® laser systems are used in industry for shaft alignment, sheave/pulley alignment and geometrical measurements. Through aggressive product development and market penetration, Damalini has attained a market-leading position with sales in more than 70 countries. In 2000 Damalini was named "Scandinavian Maintenance Company of the Year" by SCEMM (the Scandinavian Center for Maintenance Management), and in 2001 and 2002 it was earned distinction on the list of "Gazelle Companies" issued by the Swedish business daily Dagens Industri. Damalini fits well into Indutrade's strategy for growth in industrial measurement technologies. The acquisition, which is Indutrade's seventh in 2006, is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Indutrade's earnings per share.
