Indutrade acquires Scanmaskin Group, Sweden

Indutrade has signed an agreement to acquire all of the shares in Scanmaskin Group, Sweden, (www.scanmaskin.se), with annual sales of approximately 120 SEK million.

The Group’s operations are broken down into two main areas:

  • Machine manufacturing and design
  • Industrial surfacing material

Scanmaskin manufactures floor grinding, surface finishing and polishing equipment. The company has a wide range of grinding and polishing machines as well as industrial surfacing material. Customers are primarily in Europe and the USA and consist mainly of floor layers, professional surfacing companies, and machine rental companies.

Possession takes place today, and the company will be part of Indutrade’s Fluids & Mechanical Solutions business area. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Indutrade’s earnings per share.
